Gaia Clark is a music education student at California State University, Long Beach, pursuing a future as a music educator and researcher dedicated to inspiring the next generation through the power of music.
A passionate leader both on and off the stage, Gaia has served as president of her high school’s Musicians Guild, editor-in-chief of the student newspaper, commissioner of Link Crew, and first-chair cellist in multiple orchestras.
Today, she continues to give back through volunteer work with the Long Beach Symphony while sharing her love of music with her community. Guided by a lifelong commitment to education, service, and uplifting others, Gaia embodies the qualities that defined Mark Bixby’s legacy. She hopes to continue creating opportunities for others through teaching, community involvement, and a belief that leadership begins with serving those around you.
